Sensible family-friendly hotel

Generally really nice stay. The Junior Suite was nice, but we unfortunately did not sleep super well due to the noise from the elevator on the other side of the bedroom wall as well as the noise from the parking lot (salting). On the other hand, the service in the restaurant was absolutely fantastic with a clear focus on all guests. The food was ok without being sparkling. The buffet breakfast had everything desired could.
I thought the price was a bit for the high side in terms of what you get for the price.
But we generally always use Scandic if we can get to it, as it fits fine for 2 adults and 2 children.

Unpleasant reception service.

A little unpleasant welcome.
Little nice service.
I've used Scandic for about 40,000 last 3 years, now we don't even get free coffee. Paying extra for breakfast, had forgotten shoehorn at home, no help to get.

Expensive water in Denmark

Nice clean hotel helpful staff
But when you eat and want water you have to pay 50DKK
I don't understand tap water

Is quite remotely located far from the town. But near the high way an buss Kolding - Vejle. Not ideal if you don't have a car. Quite expensive too compared to more central hotels in Kolding

Nice place

Easy to drive to, free parking, lovely rooms with good beds, delicious food in the restaurant. And then we ended up with a delicious breakfast, with plenty of gluten-free and lactose-free choices. We come again
