We won't come again
We got room in the "main building", it was in poor condition, the wardrobe was fading and by overthrowing, it was really cold, the carpet was holeful and full of stains, the sucker in the bathroom did not work, so after the bath ended all moisture in the room. There was not a table with chairs we could sit at, only a huge office table with an office chair, it seems quite crazy for a double room, and it stood in the way to reach the radiator and the window, and thus also the curtain, really impractical. The entrance and reception smelled of smoke when we arrived, as if they were going smoking in the kitchen, we had the room on top, which unfortunately also smelled of smoke (I get a headache from smoke). There was crazy sound, they could as well have spared the doors away, because you could hear everything that was going on throughout the house. Really stressful as there was a party downstairs, we could hear everything that was being talked about, and every time the door was smashed it ringed throughout the room.
That evening we went down because we wanted to play games, and we did not have a table / chairs in the room, so we thought that we could be in the room at the reception, but they did not look like anyone who thinks, so they told us that there were common spaces in the building next door - but no one had told us. When we got over there it was completely quiet and peaceful, and we became super sorry that we had not got a room over there, instead of in the noisy and smelly building where they had a party.
The breakfast was fine, we could have wanted some kind of egg, and possibly some good bowl instead of the pale and airy round pieces. In addition, it seems silly that there is no room for the guests you have overnight, some had to stand and wait to get a free table because there were only 5-6 tables. You could have set up several smaller tables, instead of the few huge round tables there were.
The host could need a course in customer service, some guests complained about the lack of hot water, they were told that "it didn't fit, because it was made the other day", and at another time he was busy emptying a table for service, but the table was busy with someone picking up food, they were told that "he couldn't see it with all the rot there, so they had to take a new glass of juice"... Not a nice mood.

Really nice little place
Really cozy and good breakfast with a lot to choose from despite few guests. If you’re going to Boxen for something, this place can be recommended for overnight stays. Get discount via Pluskort (bupl)
