Pleasant and good location

Nice colonial style hotel in the city center.
Hearty breakfast taken by the pool.
Low light in the small bathroom, no room to put his things there. sometimes little hot water.

Colonial style, friendly

Nice little hotel in old colonial house. Small room with very small bathroom. There is hot water only in the evening. Very nice staff. Well located near the tourist center. Good breakfast (fruit, yogurt, bread, cereal...).

Small quiet hotel

Our room on the ground floor garden side was very nice; little flat the bathroom. The tiny washbasin and nothing to put her toiletries but that did not stop us from having a very good stay.
Breakfast is very nice on the patio and the staff very kind

Nice, but noisy

The house is beautiful. really. The location is also great.
I know the house is old, and the soundproofing can't be great, but it's still too creaky. Even bigger problem is that it's impossible to sleep without earplugs - two people were shouting until 2:30, talking loudly, dogs barking...

Nice place in the heart of Mindelo

We spent two nights at Casa Colonial and we had the family room on the 1st floor, a suite with a bedroom facing the street, a bedroom facing the courtyard and a large bathroom. It was great, a little hot but the double exposure and the ceiling fans keep things cool.
Beautiful roof terrace ideal for an aperitif and a pretty interior courtyard with a small swimming pool. This is also where we have breakfast at communal tables. The courtyard, on the other hand, acts as a sounding board so if some guests decide to end the evening in the swimming pool, well, no one sleeps... so I imagine that the rooms overlooking the courtyard only, are not necessarily very pleasant if people don't respect others. And I think the room on the ground floor next to the entrance must be quite painful…
Otherwise top location a stone's throw from the historic center of Mindelo.
