this is a quaint hotel in toronto and has character and feels very welcoming. Terek the manager was very helpful when we arrived. he helped us with the parking and check in. the room was very clean and the towels were soft and smelt so nice. the bed was comfy. the shower was of a good size and bathroom amenities were very good (even included hair conditioner). the room was well airconditioned. there was coffee in the room.
If you need parking then you have to book this on their website before you arrive.
we would definitely stay there again.

A spartan but clean work in progress.
This property is a work in progress so it's likely that future guests will have a different experience.
The Hotel Beebop is a converted townhouse. Find it by the house number; the house number placard says "Bee Bop" (Nothing says "Hotel,"). It has no front desk or lobby; if it has common areas at all, we didn't see them. The staff we encountered was one or two very nice, very helpful young men. I believe calls to the hotel go to their cell phone(s). Calls to the hotel are not always answered on the first try, though they text back when they miss a call. You're more likely to hear "Hello" when they answer than "Hotel Beebop."
There are a few parking spaces behind the property, which come at a CAD$30 extra charge.
The property may not be in its final form. The stairs up from the street had plywood treads, which I'm sure are temporary. There was an outlet in our room halfway up the wall opposite the bed, presumably for a TV, but there was no TV. The room smelled strongly of fresh paint. The whole vibe of the place is "brand new and not quite finished but open for business."
We arrived at noon, hours before check-in time, but once we reached the staff they answered the door and offered to store our luggage, then checked and discovered that the room was ready, so they let us check in early. There was no "Check in" per se; we just sort of arrived.
Our room was spartan but the sheet (no top sheet, just a comforter) was clean and the bed was fine. There was no closet or dresser, no clothes iron. There's a small work ledge bolted to the wall with a small round stool, but no desk or chairs. Honestly, there's no room for furniture beyond the bed. There is a mini-fridge a safe.
The floor seemed to have gritty dirt on it which may or may not have come from our shoes.
The bathroom had a stall shower (very nicely done), no hair dryer. Toiletries are in wall dispensers. There is a large window in the shower facing the sleeping area inside the shower.
The street was quiet but the room was not, because we could hear every movement of the people upstairs. Their toilet flushes and shower made a lot of noise in our room.
Service: Warm, friendly, helpful, but not exactly professional
Property: Spartan, no amenities to speak of, but clean.
Overall the Hotel Beebop is sort of halfway between an AirBnB and a budget hotel. It's suitable for tourists or budget travelers on short stays, especially those who don't expect to do anything in the room but shower, use the bathroom and sleep. It is not in any respect a business hotel but it's not trying to be.
I wouldn't stay there again unless money was very tight; I like a closet and a dresser and something to sit on besides the bed. But if you know what you're getting into, this might work for you.

Not bad - clearly a new project. A little onerous to go through the security identification. Toilet was rocky (we were in 002). No microwave. Very small bathroom (had to step outside to change your mind). Otherwise good. Coffee maker, but no creamer - just Splenda. We were trying to figure out how to get the door blinds up in the dark, and found out after the fact that we were playing with some sort of fire alarm thing (that could have had a bad outcome). Reasonable for a discount place in Toronto.

Glorified small bedroom, no kleenex no tv no tea no creamer no sugar only coffee pods. Our socks are so dirty from floor, you can hear water running n flushing n walking around above you. Parking is30$ plus tax its 2 spots in a lane in a bad skidrow salvation army area. Mini bar fridge is mini , cooler size n all my food was warm , clearly it didnt work. For 240$ not happening again.

We were so happy with our room. It was clean, unique and had a great vibe. The location was incredible within walking distance to downtown.
