This is a superb hotel, but please be aware the restaurant is closed on a Tuesday & Wednesday, this is not shown when you book! We arrived on a Wednesday and basically the hotel was closed although we did have a booking! There were no other guests. The owner did make us very welcome & gave us a fantastic breakfast, but it felt very odd being quite so quiet.

Could be better

As a regular visitor to Heuvelland a first time booked in the "luxury room" of 't Sparhof. We could check in from 4pm. Upon arrival at 4.35pm we had to call. Within 10 minutes I am there, half an hour later there are 4 guests and Madam arrives. She takes us to the room while the other 4 guests stay orphaned. No welcome drink, nothing. The rooms were once "luxury", although the wooden bath and the beautiful walk-in shower catch the eye. The rooms are spacious with a private terrace whose seats have had their best time, the painting needs to be done urgently and the dirty leaves could be cleaned up. The beds are good, no more. Breakfast is ok, not super for a room of 165 euros. The lady of the house comes during breakfast to ask how we slept, but the face changes to a thundercloud when we tell them to urgently check the tap of the bath. We slept badly because of a leaking tap (which was loose). When we pay 30 minutes later there is no more talk, no compensation, no excuses. In summary, for that price you expect much more and you can get much better in Dranouter.

Enjoy

Quietly located hotel in a beautiful area, with friendly staff and good food then you can only have a top weekend.
The pool in the garden is also an added value.
Deluxe room with a private terrace and wooden bath completes it.

Top location in Heuvelland!

The address for those seeking peace and quiet, located between the fields in beautiful surroundings. Cozy and cozy rooms. Very varied and delicious breakfast, served on the table, which we think is better than buffet style. Friendly reception. You can also enjoy a delicious meal in the restaurant.
Excellent base for countless walks in a beautiful region. We will definitely be back!
