Great hotel

Great hotel where everything fits, very nice reception, rooms top (although like no top rooms have booked). Great Service, you can experience a lot with the ferry threshing. Breakfast great and very wide selection. Staff very friendly. The complete concept is right here.

Avoid at all cost!!

Some people shouldn’t run hotels or be around customers. The owner of this hotel is one of the worst people we’ve ever encountered. We didn’t choose this hotel, we were forced to stay here due to an Austrian airline flight delay. The hotel in itself is run down, very basic and has uncomfortable beds. The check in/check out staff are rude and unprofessional. The breakfast contains of diluted juices, stale bread, old fruit and over cooked eggs. It’s a mystery to us how a professional airline like Austrian airline can have this hotel as a partner.

Way too expensive

This hotel is way too expensive for what it offers. A double room on a Sunday night costus €120! Service was reluctant at best and the rooms are big but old-looking and smelly. Also very poor that the WiFi only works in the lobby, no connection in the rooms. Can't recommend this hotel.

Disappointing

This 3 star hotel could very easily be uprated to 4 star.
The hotel is very attractive from outside - see the website photo.
The swimming pool is an excellent feature.
The restaurant is spacious and well laid out.
The first thing I would recommend is to get rid of the barkeeper who regards hotel guests as a nuisance who keep him back from playing games (or whatever) on the mobile phone which is always in his hand, an example of which was:
my wife asked for two beers to take up to the room. He placed the bottles on the bar, she asked if he could open them which he did. She then asked if she could have two glasses at which he rolled his eyes before grudgingly providing them. What would his reaction have been if we had asked for room service??
A WORD TO THE MANAGENENT - get rid of this guy or get him a job with one of your competitors.
The room was a good size but everything was tired and worn out. The furniture was a mixture of dated styles. The bed end was loose and was held on with a variety of screws. There was an extra single bed covered with a red blanket and I'm sure those hairs on it were from a dog.
The bathroom was also large and dated. When showering I found myself standing in 3 or 4 cms of water because it doesn't drain away quickly enough. The washbasin table is loose on the wall because people probably use it as a support when leaving the shower.
Wifi is available only in the lobby.
There is no lift and lugging heavy cases up and down the stairs isn't really acceptable.
If these points could be addressed this would be a great hotel. The owner also has another hotel as well as operating several boats on the lake so must have access to experienced staff.

Avoid

Some people are not born to be hoteliers as they have no skills or welcoming disposition. Hence the 'gentle' man at the front desk who checked us into this establishment.
It is very isolated with minimal facilities. Smoke smelling corridors decorated with crucifix, damp beds, windows which didn't open properly no fan and no air conditioning. The TV was ancient. The bathroom minimalist.
Go elsewhere!
