Great group trip at the Michaelerhof

We stayed as a tour group with 45 people for three nights at the Michaelerhof. The pension is very clean and lovingly decorated with lots of flowers. Mrs. Margreiter, the boss of the house, is a veritable whirlwind, who "almost" cooks the meals alone with her nice manner. The breakfast was very varied and of great choice. At dinner there was always only one main course but this was top in terms of quality and if it was too little, could gladly have a lookup.
Also the organization in the pension was great.
The location of the guesthouse is very quiet yet central.
We can only warmly recommend the Michaelerhof.

Flowery hotel

Beautiful flowery hotel. Warm welcome and service from the owner throughout the stay. Spacious and clean rooms. Varied meals. The only complaint is the lack of light above the sink; but bathrooms very often have this problem in almost all hotels.

Its not a hotel its a guesthouse

Endured 4 nights at this place as part of a Ledger holidays tour. The rooms are clean and tidy and there are plenty of coat hangers. Thats the good points. In the bathroom limited facilities in the form of one bottle of hand wash and another of shower gel. No sanitary bags,tissues,etc,.4 mismatched towels(Not changed)
The meals here are supplied by the woman owner who wants you seated for dinner at 1900 sharp or she comes knocking on your door like a wild thing!! Two choices at dinner time must be told at breakfast, watery soup (No roll or bread) salad consists of a chopped cos lettuce in a watery dressing. No fresh veg only one night with frozen french beans. Most food was overcooked and you could have soled your shoes with the pork chop! One alternate meal was fried potatoes(Boiled in oil) and 1 egg!!! yuk. You cannot complain as no member of staff speaks English, so swat up on your german. When you go out for the day fill up at lunchtime is my best advice.
There is wine and beer available with dinner( 20 euros for wine and 4.5 for beer.No coffee offered (Don't ask) There is no bar either so nothing to do in the evening t.v. in room in german. Its a 20 minute walk from the end of the little road(turn left) to 2 bars and a pizza place.Or turn right and a 15 minute walk takes you to another bar.(cheaper) No other shops nearby.By the way if you dare be late back she locks the door!!! One couple asked for coffee then and NO was the reply. We were glad to be out of this place, hated it.

Few days winter visit

It is a small hotel with a nice view of the mountains and it looks nice in the winter with winter view.We had a nice French lady waiter at night she as nice. She always had a smile on face.
The rooms are nice and rooms do very warm and cosy. The downfall with rooms there was no kettle for tea or coffee so you will struggle if you fancy any time tea or coffee if you want one any time of the day.The restaurant breakfast choice is basic,no hot food in the morning and the evening meal was nice, but if you are not there at start of your time slot you get the reminder knock on your door from her and you felt rushed of eating your dinner as the older lady hovers you waiting for your dish.
There not much of a bar, pritty much at evening time with your meal.
There is no details of things you can do 10/20 minute walk from the hotel as there is some local pubs and shops near by and to find out the information you need to supply you own internet as there is no internet or a proper sitting area in the hotel.I just felt it was a penny pinching hotel.
