Stunning north east Victoria
A lovely few days spent in the tranquil north east admiring the spectacular mountain views and enjoying the autumn sunshine. The cottage was outstanding and had everything you need for a self catering stay. The hosts were very friendly and generous sending us on our way with a fresh bag of walnuts. Their border collie Bailey was friendly and chilled.

Home away from Home
This is the third time we have stayed at Walnut Tree Cottages with our extended family for bi-ennial family reunions and we all love it! The two cottages are beautifully appointed especially the 3 bed cottage. The 2 bed cottage is more rustic but still beautifully presented. Hosts, Cathy and Joe provide an abundance of breakfast items, tea/sugar/ pod coffee machine to name a few. The inside of the cottages and outside gardens are all meticulously maintained and we all feel at home immediately. We feel grateful to have a special place to go to every 2 years to continue making special memories with our family.
Highly recommend Walnut Tree Cottages as a base to exploring this wine region of Victoria.

Great accommodation
Very relaxing pace and very nice accommodation.
Plenty to do there and see. Owners Cathy and joe are awesome people so too there daughters and very energetic kelpie.Highly recommended and won’t be disappointed.

Would give less than 1 star if I could. Absolutely appallingly unprofessional
BEYOND DISGUSTED with the Caterina from Walnut Tree Cottages. Cancelled our booking after taking a booking from us through a popular Booking site, cherry-picking and stuffing us around no end. She claimed that their terms were clearly stated on the site as a condition of the booking - "that the booking is not accepted by her until the first night's payment is made", enabling them to cancel the booking without notice. What the Booking.'s site does say is that "guests will take the change of first night's AFTER RESERVATION". It does NOT say, as claimed by Walnut Tree Cottages, that the BOOKING IS NOT CONFIRMED UNTIL PAYMENT. Caterina also CONFIRMED THAT SHE WAS AWARE that her actions were in BREACH OF BOOKING.'S POLICIES. Abusive and patronising on the phone, repeating their process and refusing to listen when I attempted to read out Booking.'s Policies and T&Cs to her. I would not trust a booking with this accommodation venue to my dog.
