We will definitely stay here again when we need to be in this side of Adelaide. Good size comfortable rooms with very comfortable king size bed. Lovely friendly staff, and would recommend a stay here 😀

The room was clean and large, the bed very comfy, the water was hot, the parking easy and the staff friendly. However this hotel had seen better days. The sites say a 24 hr front desk, well sort of. I never got to see the front desk, When I arrived which was within normal working hours, the door was closed and I had to phone for attention. If it wasnt for mobile phones I may still be standing in the car park. The website I first visited I'm sure said free breakfast but that seems to have been removed. Having dietary issues I normally buy supplies for breakfast, but finding a shop nearby (and not a petrol station) which had gluten free bread, cereal, and lactose free milk was not easy, a folder of such information in the room would have been handy, plus information on places to eat. Although the bed was comfy we could have done with an extra blanket, and extra pillows. I don't recommend it to older people, the stairs are awful. Also walls do not stop sound of snoring next door. But cheap and cheerful.

A lesson in trusting reviews and ratings - be wary! A lesson I have now learned!
I guess I am trusting of opinions - stuck in a town for a few days - rushing. I used a booking agency as time was important for mel That led me to the Pooraka Motor Inn
I am not saying it was disgusting. The bed was clean, the towels were ok, and it was reasonably quiet. Yes, the Internet worked. God knows what cleaner they use to sanitise the rooms with.
Knights on the road, there are never enough power plugs, but in this motel, not many were working in the walls either! Not even one token USB plug, so cheap at Bunnings! Dead light fittings hanging off the walls.
A lick of paint can brighten brown brick and transform a room, but honestly, this place is land banked, awaiting a tourist boom that has taken far too long to arrive.
A couple of rubble trucks and an excavator would be my choice. I would plant grass until rooms are needed. Pooraka Motor Inn is yet another embarrassment to accommodation options in Adelaide. Too many motels here are shockers!
Worse than the most ancient donga in deepest darkest Wittenoom. To those of you offshore, Google 'Wittenoom'... You will get the drift.

Never again, disgusting
The room was disgraceful, the shower leaked, the bathroom vanity door rotting away, hole in the door, walls filthy. The outside was just a rotting weed garden. The place should be confirmed.

I felt very disappointed. Because the room was not looks like in pictures. The room was stinking and the towels in the room was like they didn't wash them from a long time. There was broken hair on the floor. Overall, the property was below average.
