Set on 1.5 acres of beautiful gardens, Kingfishers Manor is an adults only property featuring an outdoor pool and sun terrace. Just 10 minutes’ drive from Noosa River, it offers rooms with free WiFi, free light breakfast and pool views. The guest lounge boasts a fireplace and TV. Kingfishers Manors Doonan is 12 minutes’ drive from Noosa’s Main Beach, and 30 minutes’ drive from Sunshine Coast Airport. Steve Irwin’s Australia Zoo is a 45-minute drive away. A flat-screen TV and DVD player is standard in all rooms. Each room has bathrobes, a refrigerator and tea/coffee making facilities. All guests receive a free bottle of wine per room, upon arrival. The hotel has an onsite manager who can assist with tour and sunset cruise bookings. You can enjoy a light breakfast in the Victorian dining room or on the poolside terrace. Other meals are available upon request. Please inform Kingfishers Manor in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation. Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. A palace not for birds only

We spent 3 nights at kingfishers manor at the beginning of our vacation and decided to return towards the end of our trip for another 5 nights - that’s all we have to say. :-).
For those of you who need more details: Sharon & Ged are very lovely hosts! They’ve got a very good feeling to not jangle your nerves, like many other hosts do, but are always there to assist you in case you need them. They share their wonderful home and heavenly garden with you, this is Australian B&B at it‘s best! The Manor is located in Doonan, which is only a short hop from Noosa. Eumundi and Bruce highway are only 10 Min. from there.
The rooms are different in size but similar furnished in a luxurious way. Of course there are king size beds and bathrooms en-suite - very nice and big bathrooms!!
Ged is cooking the breakfast in the morning, and he is a fantastic Chef!
Overall: the Manor is 5 Star, including the quiet and peaceful setting.
Best regards to Ged, Sharon, the Kookaburras and the Wallaby in their garden!

Great Pool

Just on our way back to soggy Melbourne after a short stay around Noosa.30 degree plus days and so good to get back to the peace and tranquility of Kingfisher for a refreshing dip in the "No kids" pool.
Everything about Kingfishers is 5 star, the well appointed accommodation , hosts Ged and Sharon ,breakfast and the location.Close to everything the Noosa area has to offer but far enough away for relaxation.

Bed and Breakfast stay

Absolutely gorgeous setting. Beautiful house inside and out. Quiet and peaceful setting. Excellent hosts and very clean. Yummy breakfast. Thoroughly recommend a stay here. Close to Noosa and Eumundi..

Relaxing Escape

Needing a getaway from life my husband and I booked into Kingfishers Manor for a quiet couple of nights. We stayed in the Azure Room which is a huge, gorgeous room with a luxurious bathroom. The outlook from the room is really nice, with a view of the pool/garden area and it was lovely to be woken by all the birds in the morning. This is the first time in many years we have stayed in a genuine B & B (i.e. staying in someone's home) and Ged and Sharon were very welcoming. We felt comfortable and relaxed sharing a wine and a port around the log fire at night with them. It is about 10 minute drive to Noosa shops and restaurants which is not far and is also not far from Eumundi if you want to visit the town on market days. We highly recommend staying at Kingfishers Manor and hope to return one day when the weather warms to enjoy the awesome looking pool and spa area.

The best holiday ever

The place is spectacular,the accommodation beyond expectations and the hosts Sharon & Ged were delightful.
We had the best break ever.
The drinks around the log fire were so relaxing and the breakfast was delicious.
