Quiet Area, Nice Outlook

We stayed at the Golfview for 2 nights. It is a little out of the main town in a quiet area but a quick drive in to shops and restaurants. Our room, whilst not overly huge was perfectly adequate. The bed was okay, although my husband felt it sloped a little on the side. We really appreciated the little kitchenette which had a toaster, microwave, kettle and to our delight a small electric portable two burner stove. We like to brew our own coffee so it was perfect for that. Well appointed with crockery and cutlery. The water was hot and wifi good. Also liked having a sofa and table with chairs plus a desk. The outlook was across a lovely garden onto the golf course. There is even a little gazebo you can sit in. Our room had a small patio that you could sit out on and enjoy the view. Plenty of parking available and we received a warm welcome on check in. We would definitely stay again.

Very clean and close to all Highland attractions

An older facade motel but clean and big rooms, balconies on all rooms. Kitchenette and King bed, single and fold out divan in room 28. Next stop again for us.
Electric blankets, a/c and free wifi. Pool.
Receptionist very friendly and helpful. free Parking on site. overlooks Golf links, next door to Gibraltar Resort

Dated, but welcoming

This facility is a little old and dated, though this was expected. The lady at the reception was very friendly and made me feel welcomed. The rooms are small'ish and cosy; was perfect for all I needed for a 2 night stay in the area. The blinds unfortunately let a lot of sun in of a morning, so as soon as the sun was up my body wanted to wake up. The bed was very firm, a bit too firm for my liking; though manageable to sleep on. The one thing that bothered me was a staff member, presumably a garden maintenance type staff, had what sounded like a leaf blower early on a Friday morning. Whilst it was 9-something in the morning and within the noise curfew, as a paying guest this was not what I wanted to hear early in the morning.
Overall was enjoyable stay, would stay again.

Clean and great value!

This spotlessly clean (although older) motel must be the best value in over-priced accommodation in Bowral. Simple friendly reception, quiet setting, country outlook, full kitchenette, clean (heated from above) bathroom with walk-in shower, quiet effective room heating and comfy bed. Thoroughly recommend.

Beautiful old style accommodation

This place is very comfortable and added bonus of right next to Gibraltar Country Club and the Proshop. My room (actually 3 in 1) included a large living area with kitchenette, separate bedroom with large comfy bed and a bathroom big enough to have a shower and separate corner bath. Just out of Bowral that made it peaceful place to be
