Hamburg Airport, colloquially called Flughafen Hamburg, is the primary international airport service the city of Hamburg in Germany. The airport is located in the Fuhlsbüttel quarter, about 8.5 kilometres north of the city centre. It serves as a hub for Germanwings and Eurowings, and is a focus city for Air Berlin, Condor, easyJet, Germania, and TUlfly. Built in 1911, Hamburg Airport is the oldest airport in the world still in operation. It resides at an elevation of 53 feet / 16 metres above mean sea level and has two asphalt runways, designated 05/23 and 15/33.

Tierpark Hagenbeck - Tierpark Hagenbeck is a zoo in the Stellingen quarter of Hamburg. It is noted for being the first zoo to use open enclosures surrounded by moats to house the animals. The zoo is home to about 1,852 animals of 14,300 species.
Miniatur Wunderland - Miniatur Wunderland is a tourist attraction in Hamburg, the largest model railway attraction in the world. Founded in 2000, Miniature Wonderland's railway consists of 12,000 metres of track in HO scale. It is divided into seven sections: Harz, the Alps and Austria, Hamburg, America, Scandinavia, Switzerland, and the fictitious city of Knuffingen.
Museum für Hamburgische Geschichte - Hamburg Museum, also known as Museum for Hamburg History, is a history museum near the Planten un Blomen park. Its permanent exhibitions include Hamburg in the 20th Century, Hamburg’s Historical Highlights, Medieval Hamburg, The Dawning of the Modern Age, Hamburg in the 21st Century, The Arrival of the First Jews in Hamburg, and Persecution and the Holocaust under the National Socialist regime. It is included in the cultural event Long Night of Museums, wherein museums and cultural institutions in the area remain open late at night for new potential patrons, who are given a common entrance pass for access to all exhibits and complimentary public transportation (within the area).
Archäologisches Museum Hamburg - The Archäologisches Museum Hamburg is an archaeological museum housing archaeological discoveries in the city and the neighbouring counties. Its primary focus is on northern German prehistory, and the history of the former city of Harburg. The two major exhibition spaces in the museum are in Museumplsplatz 2 (shared with the Harburger Theater) and the Harburger Rathausplatz 5. Museumplsplatz 2 houses the future City Museum of Harburg, the library, offices, temporary exhibitions, and small storage facilities, while the Harburger Rathausplatz houses the permanent archaeological exhibition and education facilities.
How to get around within Hamburg
Hamburg's well-developed public transport system consists of buses, a special Nacthbus (night bus), the U-Bahn (subway), the S-Bahn (suburban train), and harbour ferries. The fastest way to get around is by train: the U-Bahn provides service within the whole city centre, while the S-Bahn provides service to the suburbs. These run from 5:00AM to 1:00AM in the central city, and there is rarely any service past 11:00PM to the outlying districts. The trains run all night on weekends. Taxis are also available 24 hours a day, and can be waited for at the taxi stands or hailed off the street.
