The airport is operated by the Metropolitan Airports Commission and serves with four concrete-surfaced runways that measure. Minneapolis–St Paul International Airport is the largest and busiest airport in the upper Midwest region of Minnesota, Iowa, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wisconsin. It is also considered to be the 15th busiest of all the airports in the United States and serves as a hub for Delta Air Lines and Sun Country Airlines.
