Likoma Airport is an airport that is located on Likoma Island in the Republic of Malawi. The Likoma Island lies in Lake Malawi which is a few miles off the shore of Mozambique.

Likoma Island is the larger of two inhabited islands in Lake Malawi or also known as Lake Nyasa, located in East Africa. The smaller island is the nearby Chizumulu. Both Likoma and Chizumulu belong to Malawi, and they comprise the Likoma District. Even though both islands lie just a few kilometres from Mozambique, and are surrounded by Mozambican territorial waters, they are both exclaves of Malawi.

Likoma Island is known to be quite barren, with mostly just lovely beaches and a couple of local communities within the island living their lives every day. The island's most sought after place of interest would be its St. Peter's Cathedral. The cathedral was built in 1903 and has notable features such as the stained glass detail in it, as well as carved soapstone. Other than the cathedral, most of Likoma Island's treasures lie within its beaches. Though mostly barren, the island does offer luxury accommodations such as Kaya Mawa, Mago Drift, and Ulisa Bay Lodge.

Access to Likoma Island can only be possible via boat or charter aircraft. Other than Likoma Island, travellers can also check out a nearby island called Chizumulu, which is also of Malawian territory.
