Pilot Point Airport is a state-owned, public use airport operated by the State of Alaska DOT and PF – Central Region Arm. It is located in Pilot Point, a city in the Lake and Peninsula Borough of the U.S. State of Alaska. As per Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) records, the airport have had 738 passenger enplanements in calendar year 2008, an increase of 9% from the previous 678 in 2007. Pilot Point Airport is also included in the FAA's National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2009-2013, which categorised it as a general aviation facility. General aviation facilities only have less than 2,500 enplanements each year.

Facilities for the airport include a runway designated 7/25 with a gravel surface measuring 3,289 feet by 75 feet, along with a small terminal, which is common for domestic Alaskan airports.

Pilot Point is located on a high, ancient glacial moraine, which abuts the eastern shore of Ugashik Bay six nautical miles upstream from Smoky Point and 18 nautical miles downstream from the village of Ugashik. It is relative small – with only 140.5 square miles as its total area, and with 81.93% water.
