Your Destination Airport

Townsville Airport (TSV)

Arriving in: The airport only has the one terminal that all flights are directed to.

On your arrival to TVS Airport you can use one of two automatic teller machines, organise your accommodation through the house directory in the Arrivals Terminal, log onto the free WiFi, or buy some refreshments from one of three food outlets.

You will find a taxi rank outside the terminal, on the arrivals side. A journey in a taxi will cost you around $22 to get into Townsville city centre, depending on traffic. You can take an airport shuttle into town, which travels to the Sealink Magnetic Island ferry terminal, and some of the larger city hotels. This is the cheapest way to travel if you are a couple (costing only $15 for the two of you) and for a family ($25), however, if you are a larger group, travelling by taxi, or hiring a car will be a less expensive option. The car rental companies operate out of the arrivals area of the terminal, where cars can be picked up or dropped off.
