The Port-Menier Airport is a public airport operated by the Government of Quebec. It is located 2.7 nautical miles (five kilometres; 3.1 miles) east of Port-Menier, a small fishing town on the western end of Anticosti Island in Quebec, Canada. It is identified by IATA with the code “YPN”, while the ICAO identifies it with the code “CYPN”.

 

The port village of Port-Menier serves as the hub of Anticosti Island, with the population doubling during the summer, as more seasonal workers and tourists arrive at the area. Port-Menier boasts of outdoor tourism, with deer hunting as the main attraction.
