The gorgeous town of Naples sits perched on the southwest coast of Florida, looking out onto the azure waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Its reputation as a destination for high-end shopping, excellent cuisine, pristine beaches and beautiful golf courses precedes it, and you’ll find a visit to Naples will have you planning another.

The historic downtown area is where you’ll want to start; stroll down Third Street South where the shopping is varied and chic, from boutique apparel stores, home décor shops and art galleries. When you’re done for the day, head down to the beachfront for dinner by the water, and have a drink in one of the lavish bars as the sun sinks below the horizon.

If you want to experience the outdoors, there are plenty of tours out to the Everglades, as well as fishing tours and dolphin sightseeing boat trips out to the Gulf. If you are more

interested in relaxing, you can chart a boat to Key West and enjoy a tropical paradise, or take advantage of the beaches nearby, including the one on your doorstep, Naples Beach which offers 16km of gleaming shoreline. Otherwise if you fancy teeing off, there are more golf courses than you can count in Naples, and the culture of this sleepy but ritzy town is perfect for spending your days alternating between the green of the course and the blue of the sea.
