Lac Brochet First Nation is a community situated in the boreal forest of northern Manitoba in Canada, on the Lac Brochet lake. The village serves as the administrative centre of the Northlands First Nation. There is not much available information regarding the attractions and activities in Lac Brochet. In Manitoba, however, notable points of interest include Assiniboine Park, FortWhyte Alive, Lower Fort Garry, Royal Aviation Museum of Western Canada, Manitoba Legislative Building, Manitoba Museum, Winnipeg Art Gallery, Mennonite Heritage Village, Kildonan Park, MTS Centre, Manitoba’s Children’s Museum, Canadian Museum for Human Rights, Shaw Park, McPhillips Station Casino, and Saint Boniface Cathedral, among others. Manitoba Children’s Museum is a non-profit charitable museum for children which is located by The Forks in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. With around 135,000 annual visitors, the museum was founded in the early 80s, with three permanent galleries such as the Grain Elevator and Train, Making Sense, and the Big Top. Winnipeg Art Gallery or WAG, on the other hand, features more or less 24,000 works in its permanent collection, which mainly focuses on Manitoban and Canadian art, in addition to many. Founded in 1912, the art gallery offers tours, lectures, in addition to family programs, among others, on a regular basis, available for its visitors. The gallery also has a gift shop, restaurant, rooftop garden, auditorium, as well as meeting and lecture rooms. Another place to stop by when within Manitoba is the Royal Aviation Museum of Western Canada. Formerly the Western Canada Aviation Museum, it is the second largest museum that features a vast aviation collection within Canada. Among its display aircraft include Canada’s first helicopter, Fairchild 71, Canadair Sabre, Bristol Freighter, and McDonnell CF-101 Voodoo, in addition to many more.

How to get around
When within Lac Brochet First Nation community, there are no permanent roads that connect the community with other parts of the province of Manitoba. Some of the roads within the First Nation community of Lac Brochet are only passable during winter. Within Manitoba, however, getting around is best done by bus, train, and car. Canada’s VIA Rail goes through provinces with its intra provincial services starting from Winnipeg Union Station towards Churchill with three trains a week. Travelling by buses can be done via Greyhound Buses which serves most of Manitoba, as well as its southern parts. Another option for getting around within Manitoba is by car, since the province, just like most of Canada’s provinces, is pretty large. Going around by car is easy and could possibly be the most convenient transportation option there is when intending to go around the whole of Manitoba and its nooks and crannies.
