Local hotel 10x better than chain hotels! Original Floridan experience with unique boutique feel. Close to beach.

The North Village is a hidden gem Ive been going to for 5 years and never disappointed! While they are all great I prefer the Aqua Hotel run by Maggie who makes you feel like family. Her warmth and attention to detail will have you going back.
She is frequently seen in her golf cart giving potential clients a tour first.
If you want to experience the real Florida at incredible rates this is the hotel. All the room are IKEA style furnishings are so refreshing and most importantly 100% clean. The hotel staff upon leaving the magnet for room to be made up are there immediately.
Each hotel has a salt water and chlorine pool. If you stay at one of the properties you have use of all the properties. With fairy lights and chandeliers hanging between buildings in beautiful gardens and hidden pathways. Theres so much to love.
Theres a charming local bakery, juice bar & restaurant if your vegan, outdoor wine cellar with fire pits for smores, boutiques, a stationary food truck , several cafes and restaurants. The spa.
As a full time Florida resident this is my personal go to for stay vacations to decompress.
Fort Lauderdale offers free curb to curb transportation. Water taxi’s offer up and down the inter costal waterways for one time charge. And more water taxi’s that are free.
I always go off season .. there may be dime reduced hours and it’s hot.., but its not crowded at all.
Theres plenty to do in AC like art museum, Bonnet House tour, Candle Making class (fun!) , Fish Market - feed the Tarpon monster fish! , Christmas Palace displays, Tufting, Pottery lessons, live bands, and so much more! Enjoy!!

Relaxing

Love this hotel , it was clean , great location on a quiet street . You can easily walk for food like Archibalds or the Market for supplies ( beer ) , the beach is under 5 minutes . Only complaint, Uber wouldn’t pick me up here , I walked to left side of the Four Seasons in front for them to pick me up .No biggy ( uber s problem )

We stayed in a 1 bedroom suite (sleeps 6), room was spacious and AC worked properly. TVs were tiny and required internet to use which did not work for us. We were only there for 2 nights and not having internet was not the biggest issue but it could have been if were there for longer. They did not fix the issue but gave us late check out instead. Overall it’s a good location for the price we paid. There are not a lot of affordable restaurants around since it is located next to 5-4 stars hotels. Short walk to the beach and they have pools, which was nice. Wish they had beach chairs and umbrellas to borrow or rent.

Okay

Because we went as a family (4 people) the room was too small and packed with the two twin beds. Room service was non-existent because apparently you had to text them on their number to get extra towels. It was not as clean as could be. It is an okay place to stay if you are just 2 people because the facilities and services are very minimal.

We stayed for one night on our way to the Keys. This hotel is perfectly located just steps from the beach with many great restaurants, quite price as they are located in high class hotels. The bed on our room was very comfortable. There's a small fridge, coffee maker and a microwave - everything you need for a comfortable stay plus parking. We will be back.
