St. Theresa Point Airport is the public airport located in St. Mary Island, 1.5 kilometres north of St. Theresa Point, Manitoba, Canada. The airport is operated by the Government of Manitoba, and resides at an elevation of 767 feet (234 metres) above mean sea level. The airport has one runway designated 04/22, with crushed rock surface and a length of 3,391 feet (1,034 metres).
St. Theresa Point is a remote Oji-Cree First Nation, occupying the Reserve are located on the south-western shore of Island Lake. There are 478 housing units in the community, and over 5,400 residents in the area within a 40-kilometre radius. The other communities nearby are the Wasagamack First Nation and the Garden Hill reserves. St. Theresa Point can only be accessed by airplane or winter ice roads.

St. Theresa Point is not exactly a tourist spot for those who seek commercial tourism. The only facilities are the airport, a fire hall, a hockey arena, a television station, a radio station, and a police station. However, St. Theresa Point itself boasts beautiful natural surroundings, which makes ecotourism an attraction here. Go on a boat ride across Island Lake and immerse with the members of the First Nations that go fishing on this lake to learn more about their culture. While at it, island hopping is also a must, with many isles situated on the Island Lake. Other popular recreation activities in St. Theresa Point include hockey, baseball, volleyball, fishing tournaments, the annual Bannock Festival, basketball, and Treat Days.
How to get around within St. Theresa Point
There are no public local land transportation systems in the community apart from the winter roads. Travel on the winter roads as well as the rough terrain of the countryside using a 4x4 vehicle. Islands in and surrounding St. Theresa Point can be accessed by boat.

As previously mentioned, St. Theresa Point can only be accessed by winter ice road that goes all the way north to Garden Hill, southwest towards Manigotagan, with a branch that leads towards Berens River. St. Theresa Point Airport is served by the airlines Perimeter Aviation. It offers flights from Winnipeg James Armstrong Richardson International Airport, the airport serving the capital and largest city of Manitoba. St. Theresa Point also has dock facilities for float planes and boats. When getting into St. Theresa Point, travellers should be aware that travel arrangements should first be made with the Nation Chief and Council prior to departure, in order to guarantee accommodations during your visit.
