Rouyn-Noranda Airport located at 48.206111 latitude and -78.835556 longitude, around 7.5 nautical miles, around 13.9 kilometres or 8.6 miles to the southeast of Rouyn-Noranda, Quebec, in Canada. Among its destinations include Montreal, Baie-Comeau, Saint-Pierre, La Romaine, Mont-Joli, Natashquan, Quebec City, Saint-Augustin, Sept-Îles, and Wabush, to name a few. The airport serves with an asphalt runway at around 2,300 metres (7,500 feet) in length.

L'Oasis du bonheur offers its visitors comfortable accommodations with its yourte, tipi, and ecological cottages. Be one with nature and experience the wilderness in comfort. Centre d'exposition de Rouyn-Noranda, on the other hand, is the city’s exhibition centre within the downtown area. It features two exhibition halls, a boutique, and a coffee corner within the centre. Open to all, free of charge, the exhibition centre has various collections, as well as workshops available. For the more adventurous, Circuit Abitibi Karting provides a great activity for families and group of friends alike. It features more than 20 vehicles for karting throughout a 700-metre activity area. The Circuit Abitibi Karting also has a motocross track of 1.7 kilometres with varying jump heights for beginners and experts alike. Additionally, going on the motocross track requires your own bike since the site does not offer motocross bikes for rent.  

 

How to get around within Rouyn

Rouyn-Noranda can be explored by driving, cycling, or via the town’s bus system. When driving all around Rouyn-Noranda, the wide streets make it easy to go around, with available parking areas available all throughout the area, at any time. Driving through the streets of Rouyn-Noranda has been considered more practical than taking the city’s buses, which can be more suitable for the use of the locals, rather than the tourists.
