EXCELLENT….BUT
Finally thought that a 5 was warranted as the resort is excellent.
7 night stay as part of a large 250 person conference.
Our room was in building 2 on the ground floor with our private mini pool…not a plunge as it was only 2 feet deep….but lovely and refreshing when used.
Building 2 is closer to the beach, pool area and La Plage restaurant (all good points)…but a long way away from the main resort building….but there is electric car transport as soon as called…free of charge.
Our room was large, very comfortable, great bathroom, quiet aircon, all the usual bits n pieces you find in a top hotel.
Maybe it was a bit noisey from the hard floor walkway…however no real issue.
Pillows and sheets to die for!
The breakfast buffet is world class…..more choice than you could possibly want.we didn’t try the Grill but LaPlage was excellent as was the main restaurant.
The pool is probably the best or close to the best ever….about 250m long!!
Clean and clear as crystal.
The beach is excellent.and clean.
Staff all excellent.
We visited the spa 3 times…all divine.
Now the little nasty…..the garden maintenance at our unit was poor. (See photos)…the small section of natural grass was almost 300mm long and the garden full of weeds….poor for an international hotel….a quick visit to concierge and it was immediately addressed…however it should not have been necessary.
In closing the convention was a roaring success with all AV, Catering and presentations by the hotel excellent.
the hotel is positioned about half way between Hoi Anh and Da Nang (20 mins each way)
No real tourist shopping within walking distance…unless you are a serious walker!!!.
I can recommend the hotel to all.

6 nights stay at Sheraton Grand Da Nang Resort
Meeting hall is quite spaacous and internet signal is stable. Rooms are clean and daily service is great.
One of the best amenities is the private beach. Beach is clean and quite peacful and private with a very nice sunrise view.
Will definiteky consider coming back here on a personal trip with the family if schedule and budget permits.

Unforgettable Stay with Great Food and Fun for Kids!
We stayed in a suite with family, and it was fantastic! Calm location, yet only 15 minutes from Da Nang city. Friendly staff (special thanks to Hai, the bellboy), an amazing pool, and the best food I’ve ever had! Kids loved the waterpark and play areas – perfect for families.
Overall, a wonderful stay – highly recommended!
