Thank you for your kind words and for taking the time to share your experience! We're thrilled to hear you enjoyed your stay — from the stunning sea view upgrade and relaxing pool area to our friendly team and prime location near the port.
It's great that you had the chance to explore both the island by car and the town by bicycle — the best of both worlds! We truly appreciate your enthusiasm and can’t wait to welcome you back to Kos again soon.
Warm regards,

Disabledwheelchair couple 2 week stay
On arrival late at night we were 'upgraded' to a junior suite which we thought was great but although the room was very good and spacious we had issues with the bathroom and the balcony. The balcony overlooked a dirty roof, a wall with extractor pipe and was directly under 2 walk ways and above the smelly kitchen bins! When we asked to have our original room (terrace) we were told it was no longer available and asked to pay an extra 600 euros to have a 1st floor room overlooking the street at the back, this wouldn't have worked for us as the lifts are tiny and inaccessible for a wheelchair!
The bathroom, although 'accessible' it was very awkward as no vanity or storageshelf area, very low lighting, no adjustable shower head (no pole to slide lower) pressure was far too high and soaking bathroom toilet paper etc if you didn't hold on to it, no wheelchair adjustable mirror for correct height, no anti slip floor etc generally very difficult to use for 2 weeks.
I wouldn't recommend this hotel to disabled guests as both the breakfast area and the pool toilets and showers are inaccessible. We were cut off from reaching the breakfast area until they unlocked a door by the pool and moved planters to allow my husband in his wheelchair to get to a breakfast table. He couldn't reach the food as it is up 5 stairs so he couldn't see the food nor serve himself throughout our 2 week stay. The pool toilets and shower rooms are down 2 sets of steps so he would have to go back to the room to use either.
There was also no allergy or dietary options at breakfast for myself, no toast machine and very little in the way of variety. Most of the food available was greasy, and uninviting, couple of baskets of dry rolls. We ended up going elsewhere for breakfast and were ready to go home after a week as very disappointed with our stay here. It was an expensive stay and totally not worth the money.
The pool bar, pool and staff at the pool were the only things that made our stay enjoyable, Anna, Nestios, George, Eleanor, Chris and our cleaner were all very friendly and helpful.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback and for highlighting the positive impressions you had of our pool area, bar, and especially our staff members Anna, Nestios, George, Eleanor, Chris, and our housekeeping team. They will be delighted to know their efforts were appreciated.
We would like to take this opportunity to clarify certain aspects of your stay. Your travel agency had specifically requested a disabled-adjusted room, and while the original booking was for our lowest room category, we offered you a complimentary upgrade to a junior suite in order to better meet your accessibility needs. When you requested to change rooms, we informed you that you could return as early as the next day to the originally booked room type, which would have been available if you wished. The specific room type you later requested was a significantly higher category than the one originally booked, and as such, we provided full information regarding the additional cost.
With respect to your comments about the balcony view, we would like to note that the bins you referred to are not in use for waste disposal; they are only stored in that location and cannot generate odours.
Regarding accessibility, while we did our utmost to facilitate your husband’s needs, including unlocking alternative entrances and adjusting furniture layout, we acknowledge that certain areas of the building may still have presented challenges.
For breakfast, our buffet includes a variety of hot and cold selections, and we are always happy to provide dietary or allergy-specific items upon request. We regret if this was not made clear during your stay.
As some of your concerns were communicated directly to your travel agency, our management contacted them promptly to address the matter. We were later informed by the agency that everything had been resolved and that you were satisfied with the hotel.
We truly value all feedback as it helps us continuously improve our facilities and services. We hope that, despite the points raised, you were able to enjoy your time in the area and that we may have the opportunity to welcome you again under more favourable circumstances.
Kind Regards,
Kalliopi Avgouli

Thank you so much for your wonderful review!
We’re truly happy to hear that you had such a positive experience with us and that our team — including Chris, George, and the team at the pool bar — made you feel welcome and well looked after. It’s great to know you enjoyed the comfort and amenities of your sea view room, as well as the service and atmosphere around the pool.
Our housekeeping and reception teams work hard to ensure everything runs smoothly, and we’re glad that was reflected in your stay. Being centrally located in Kos Town does come with a bit of city buzz, but we’re thrilled that it didn’t take away from your overall enjoyment.
We really appreciate your kind words and hope to welcome you back again soon!
Warm regards,

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback.
We're genuinely pleased to hear that you appreciated the kindness and professionalism of our staff — they are indeed a key part of the guest experience we aim to offer.
That said, we're sorry to read that certain aspects of the hotel did not meet your expectations. While all of our rooms have been renovated, we understand that design and finish are subjective, and we always welcome constructive feedback as we continue to improve and maintain our facilities.
Had any maintenance concerns such as limescale or missing details been reported during your stay, we would have addressed them immediately. Our team is available around the clock to ensure that all guests feel comfortable.
We’re glad you enjoyed the location and truly hope you'll reconsider and give us the chance to offer a better experience in the future.
Kind regards,

Thank you for your kind words and for highlighting the spaciousness of our rooms — we’re delighted you found them comfortable.
We understand that our pool area may not have met your expectations in terms of size. While we aim to offer a relaxing atmosphere, we’re happy you found an alternative nearby that suited your preferences. The beach area by Smiles Taverna is indeed a peaceful spot, and we’re glad you enjoyed the local hospitality and food there.
We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back in the future.
