Perfection

I cannot speak highly enough of this beautiful hotel, it was perfect in every way. From the hand written personalised welcome note in the room, the large comfortable bed, fluffy thick towels, lots of accessories that make your stay comfortable, and the decor was so stylish. Having worked in the hotel and service industry for many years, I could not fault this hotel in any way.
Geoffrey and Janice were so welcoming and helpful , nothing was too much trouble.

Wonderful French Villa in Mazamet

La Villa is a beautiful 1930’s French Villa set in a quiet part of Mazamet within a 5 minute walk of the station.
The whole atmosphere is one of calm serenity! A huge iron front door leads into a marble hallway with salons on each side. The runner clad wooden staircase leads up to the bedrooms with wood panels for walls. Bedrooms are simply decorated with wooden furniture, sumptuous bed linen and dreamily comfortable beds. There is even a little reading room on the first floor that overlooks the huge townhouses nearby and the mountain beyond.
Janice and Geoffrey are wonderful hosts, unobtrusive and yet always available if needed. Janice cooks a delicious 4-course dinner on Friday and Saturday nights which is not to be missed! The wines are reasonable and of the region and Geoffrey does a mean G&T or cocktail before dinner which can be taken in the garden from 7pm.
The pool is small but refreshing and the loungers comfortable.
The poolside honesty bar is a wonderful touch too.
I would return in a heartbeat!

A very nice house

Superb address, very nice house of the 30s art deco style, spacious and well equipped room, perfect bedding. An arrangement that makes you feel at home, very beautiful mobile. A few steps from very good restaurants also, address to remember!

Villa de Mazamet is a top-notch B&B

The Villa de Mazamet has beautiful rooms and the hosts are friendly and welcoming. We had a wonderful 4-night stay here in September, 2024. Mazamet has some interesting hiking and biking opportunities, including the hike of La Passarelle de Mazamet. The breakfasts were the best we had during our 17-day trip to France.
