I visit this hotel several times a year when I am in the area, and never drift regarding the reception, cleanliness of the rooms, breakfast and quiet.

Seriously.

Not so easy to find, but excellent reception at the reception.
Quality sleeping with a double bed. The room is clean as well as the bathroom.
The mold marks in the shower are not very glamorous.
Large unguarded parking.

My worst experience in an ibis

Ideally located on our route, this night at Ibis promised to be under the best auspices.
The 24/7 reception allowed us to stop in the middle of the night and leave early in the morning.
In short, the perfect plan except that….
Arriving at the double entrance door, it is locked.
We ring the intercom, and wait patiently for the night watchman.
Far from staying up to wait for his guests, he arrives a good while later, completely stunned by sleep.
Not very courteous, he then spends a long time in silence on his PC and ends up handing us our cards, already ready next to the PC.
15 minutes from parking lot to room door. It’s very long at 1am.
When you wake up, it’s a cold shower. Literally: no hot water in the shower.
Cat toilet and head for breakfast.
The only answer to the cold water problem is: “it’s the circuit breaker that tripped again, sorry”
Without wanting to be a lecturer, I think that a circuit breaker that has tripped AGAIN deserves to be replaced, or at least, if technical intervention is not possible (weekend), monitored very closely.
I also think that the night watchman is supposed to stay up to wait for his guests and not to sleep.
It’s a shame, usually ibis hotels are welcoming and warm.
Will we have to change our habits?????

Unpleasant stay

A small hotel in Rennes. The room was very small, there was not even 30 cm of space from the wall to the bed. The door to the room was cracked at the floor. The room was dirty, with a lot of dust. There was garbage in the bathroom, dirty bathroom. The tables in the restaurant were very narrow and the food trays were dirty.
The staff is unprofessional, scattered, disorganized.
I do not recommend staying in this hotel.

Terrible experience

Terrible experience, this Ibis is very badly managed. Very small rooms, you don't know where to put your two suitcases! It all feels like a garage rather than a hotel. All rooms equipped with only one towel per person, in our rooms. requests the kids at the reception (it seemed like a family) tell us that in the Ibis they are always given only a towel (for shower)....it's a shame that in Europe (like others) I have been around a lot of Ibis and NEVER EVER has everything happened This. Let's not talk about dinner and breakfast!!! Canteen room, poor food and poor guy... sorry to review like this but the whole group was disgusted and the guide saw everything so it wasn't a complaint from a single person but from all the tour participants. I still wonder why some hotels are so badly managed... really a shame!!!
