I decided to stay in a very cheap room because I literally only planned to stay in the hotel for 10 hours. It was a late evening arrival and an early morning checkout. The room I booked was extremely small and had no towels, but for my purposes it was fine. If you’re planning to stay longer, book a bigger room.

The Jinjiang Star Fashion (Ningbo Railway Station) Hotel is located at No. 199 South Station West Road, Haishu District, Ningbo City (west side of North Square of Ningbo Railway Station). When taking the train to Ningbo, exit from the North Square and turn left, walk straight until the traffic light, then turn right and walk straight to arrive, a total distance of more than 700 meters, it takes only 8 minutes to walk. Super clean, quiet and easy to find. Members of the staff were all nice, polite and very helpful. Basic toiletries, 2 bottles of water and little bags of tea were provided in my room for my 1 night stay. The bed was very comfortable to sleep in. They have a nice restaurant as well plus a robot assistant that even escorted me to the elevator even though it was just behind the reception desk. Walkable from the metro station and Ningbo Railway. Close to some restaurants and convenience stores.

Easy to find hotel, good if you are departing the train, or coach. But I feel the price is a bit to high compare to urban Shanghai area.
