Great value, amazing staff!

What a cute little motel! We stayed at the Aleena over the past week and it didn't disappoint. The kitchenette suites are a life saver - fully outfitted with fridge, stove, microwave, toaster and kettle. Having a great grocery store across the street, make this an ideal location. Keep in mind that the suites are a little older, but they are very clean and well maintained. The staff is super friendly and ready to help with directions and suggestions of things to see and do. Overall, a great experience!

It’s like being under house arrest

Been in this hotel for over 2 1/2 months
No Company after 10 pm You would think somebody staying in a hotel this long would be allowed company once in A while
Front desk guy even called the cops for one of my classmates sitting in his car He had four cops surround his car
I’ll be glad when this course is over I’ll never stay here again

Distinctly average

Lacking in character but big rooms with large, firm and comfortable beds. Frustrating though to have noisy fridges in the room which can’t be unplugged so they keep you awake at night. Cheapish though and pretty central.

You get what you pay for

Prices to stay here are really cheap, came to $97 for a pet friendly room for one night stay, night stay is very friendly. The front of the building makes it look like you have access to a patio but you actually don't! Bathroom was very moldy and suites at the back of the building face the other hotel, along the parking lot where people were smoking and looking in the window, you don't have alot of privacy.

Tap Water was brown

I fully appreciate this was a low cost motel, but brown tap water is rather pushing their luck. Didn't offer an alternate room/refund/solution. We had a 10month old baby with us. Otherwise was a pretty standard motel room
