In town for a meeting with family. Needed a centrally located hotel for a nine day stay. Good value, great atmosphere. Very pleasant staff-beds very comfortable and well designed bathrooms. Good music played throughout the hotel-I’m looking for their playlist. Best hotel I’ve stayed in a long time.

Not what it was …sadly.
I have previously stayed at the QT on my yearly visit to Melbourne and have loved it. It’s been a great vibe, with friendly staff.
This was not my experience this time.
The staff seem disinterested. The room was consistent with previous visits however the shower tap was broken ( came off in my hand) the shower emitted a screechy sound when turned on and the seal was broken on the personal toiletries.
The mini bar was super stocked with alcohol however the snack options were unusual and minimal.
I arrived late and the room service menu was nearly non existent unless you wanted a toastie.
The cups were teeny. Great for espresso drinkers not so much for tea drinkers.
It was unseasonably warm in Melbourne when I was there so I ordered some ice for an in room drink on Thursday night….. I’m still waiting.
I’m so sad at the decline of the QT, the location is so good but the brand has deteriorated.
For the cost there are better options.

Good faire
I stayed at this hotel for the first time during a business trip. It has a central location, good price, and a young, vibrant atmosphere. The rooms are a good size with a large bathroom and are very clean. The rooftop is the icing on the cake. I will be back

A fresh hotel among oldies
Room: I loved our room. Comfortable, smelled and felt clean, new. I wish they will give you an instruction on how to use the coffee machines. I feel hotels expects one to just google or go to YouTube how to use them. It's a small service that can make a lot of difference.
Good location. I've stayed in a few hotels in the Melbourne CBD, they are usually old in this price range. It is on an "expensive street" because of another but high end hotel.
Food: We were not very impressed with the breakfast though but I suppose it is not a CBD hotels' strength.
Overall, QT is always memorable and quirky or quirky therefore memorable. I am a fan of their concept.

Beautiful hotel in a perfect location. Unfortunately, the rooftop bar (one of the main reasons we chose this hotel) was closed on one of the two nights we stayed for a "private event" which was hugely disappointing - especially as we had arranged to meet friends there. We ate at the hotel restaurant one night. The food was good, service could have been better. The reception staff and car valet were top notch.
