Darwin Airport has a domestic and international terminal, and both are located within the same building. The airport offers a number of services and facilities for the comfort and convenience of their passengers. Facilities include ATMs, baby change rooms, disabled-friendly facilities, retail outlets, smoking areas, a Tourist Refund Scheme (TRS) office, and free Wi-Fi throughout the terminal building. Dining options are numerous, and include a range of cafes, bars, and a Hungry Jack’s fast food outlet.
There is also a Travelex foreign currency exchange kiosk on the Ground Floor in the Arrivals Hall, and in the International Departures Lounge. Baggage trolleys are also available free of charge to all passengers, and there are baggage lockers available for hire.

There are a number of transport options available to those travelling to or from Darwin Airport. For those who are driving to the airport, there is a car park offering short and long term rates. Short stay rates start at $29 for 24 hours - Those staying longer than 24 hours can access better rates by using the Long Stay Saver carpark, which offers parking starting at $69 for 7 days.
Darwin City Airport Shuttle Service also offers a comfortable, air-conditioned shuttle bus service to and from the airport. The shuttle bus departs from directly outside the baggage collection carousels, and travels to all major hotels in Darwin. Bookings for hotel pickup must be made in advance.
Taxis are also readily available to take passengers between the airport and the CBD. Expect to pay around $25 to $30 for the journey, plus a $3.00 exit toll if you are travelling by taxi from the airport.
For those who wish to hire a car from Darwin Airport, this can be done online in advance, or organised at the car rental provider’s desk at the airport. Car rental providers at Darwin airport include Avis, Budget, Europcar, Hertz, Redspot and Thrifty.
