A quaint little village in southern England, perfect for lunching and boutique shopping after seeing nearby Stonehenge. The cathedral is famous for housing the Magna Carta.
The cathedral is the main attraction, but you can also spend a few hours walking around the town. Also try Old Sarum in the outskirts and be sure to try the local pub for the grub.
Even though most people just pass here to see Stonehenge, it is a really lovely town with a gorgeous cathedral. It shouldn't be so overlooked as much!
Charming English town, with a wonderful old town. The cathedral is beautiful, and you can see a copy of the Magna Carta. Close to Salisbury is Sarum, the old capitol of the English Kingdom under William the Conqueror, Stonehenge, and Avebury
