Do not stay here.
We travel quite a bit and it takes a lot for me to take the time to leave a bad review but this could be the worst hotel we have ever stayed in. It started from the moment we checked in when I was almost charged $200 more than I had on my receipt from when I booked the room directly on Hilton's website. A manager was able to solve this problem but it was not a good first impression.
As you step into the elevator you are greeted with torn up and stained carpeting and the odor of cigarette smoke (see photos).
Our room was outdated, no fan in the bathroom, which is great when three people are sharing and using the bathroom in the AM...very outdated.
The smoking spot for the hotel was located just outside our room so we had the pleasure of smelling smoke every evening and morning come through the windows.
The staff (with the exception of one woman who works in the AM) was void of personality. As someone who works in hospitality these people have ZERO training in it. When we returned to the hotel and left we literally were greeted ZERO times. Just a stare down at their phones or a computer screen.
The hotel looks NOTHING like the images on the website. We traveled with our daughter and of course she wanted to use the pool. As you can see in the photos it was REVOLTING. So dirty it was embarrassing for me since I booked the stay.
It was our son's wedding weekend, this was the one part of our trip we all disliked. Very disapointing, the rates are far too high for to stay in dump like this.

Avoid this place: One Hilton Garden Inn is not like another!
Before my arrival, I received an email saying my room had been upgraded. Great sign, I thought.
But once I checked in, I immediately regretted my decision to stay there. For starters, this facility is likely one of the original HGI's. The carpet, plaster walls, prefab bathrooms (without any fan ventilation) scream 1980's.
My upgraded room was on the third (top) floor of the hotel, accessible by a tiny elevator with beat up flooring and walls. Immediately upon opening the hotel room door, I knew I couldn't stay there. The room's furnishings were dilapidated and dated, the wall ac unit loudly rattled, and the smell of mold permeated the air. The staff had used a cloyingly sweet smelling cleanser that did not mask the odor in the room. To top it off, the bathroom featured a giant round dusty pink tub (think vibes of an old Poconos hotel) and poor lighting.
The second room I was shown was accessible and the set-up was unacceptable.
Third time was the charm, I suppose, although I traded a decent smelling room for one that was on the heavily trafficked first floor immediately off the lobby. The room looked like other HGI hotels, but not renovated. The one chair in the room was miserable to sit in; ditto the bed for sleeping. To complete the ambiance, the bathroom tub was stained and the carpet icky for bare feet.
In fairness, there were two good things to mention: The water pressure and the soft towels were a welcome surprise. And Aurora at the front desk and Elizabeth Carrillo in sales were pleasant and helpful.
Still, they weren't sufficient for me to give this hotel more than a poor rating. Save yourself the misery and go somewhere else. There are plenty of other options in the area.

Front desk lady at check in did not listen to requested accommodations and was a tad snappy. We did not have any other issues with front desk interactions.
Rooms are a bit outdated. Bed was comfortable.
