Weekend away
Recently enjoyed a lovely weekend in Bath with my girlfriend.
We stayed at the Francis hotel which has a great location to enjoy the delights of Bath.
The stay and door man made the stay a delight always willing to help or make suggestions to enhance our stay.
The Emberwood restaurant is recommended which you can get to from the hotel. Food and service first class.

The staff throughout the hotel were friendly and chatty particularly the bar staff. Recommendations were given for things to visit and see whilst we were staying,

Great Experience
Warm and friendly welcome from staff
Good ones:
- Very Clean and Well presentable
- Room Decor is great
- Bed and mattress very comfortable after a long journey it feels that you don’t want to move out
- Cool air con, we did not feel the heat wave
- extremely convenient location for shops and restaurant
- per friendly we even had a dog bed and food, though for £35 extra per night
Down side
- squeaky floors as old building
- restaurant room service never picks up
- we had no food menu in the room, when taken the food choices were limited for us i.e halal, veg
- House keeping only until early afternoon and after that it is a struggle to get room cleaned if your kids made a mess, but reception staff can step in to help for minor issues; linen change, hoovering, rubbish collection
- not the best value for money as family though you get a good experience

Great stay, highly recommended
Brilliant location for exploring the city. Lovely clean bright rooms with very luxurious beds. Fabulous breakfast with lots of choice.
Small car park with a reasonable daily charge £20.
