Love this place

I stayed 3 times 1 month each time at pink’s. Love this place very relaxed, bungalows are clean and very simple no luxury. Beach is beautiful in the morning and its not crowded at all. If you looking for a quiet time its the perfect place. Thank you for all these moment Pink !

Bungalows on the sea

We stayed at the Pink Bungalow over NYE. The accommodation was fairly basic, fans (no a/c) cold water showers only. The setting was lovely, able to watch sunrise and sunset over the water.
The owner kindly booked us a private taxi to some temples and a secluded beach on the other side of the island. This was good.
Unfortunately we had a miscommunication with pricing when booking their own transport up and down the island via the reception, based on local fees we felt this was a bit over priced.
Overall a nice stay for backpackers.

Friendly staff, Nice & quiet location

The biggest plus for Pinks bungalow is the staff.
'Miss pink' couldn't do enough for me and my partner during our stay.
All staff we're friendly and helpful and gave us lots of local advice.
Wifi worked brilliantly
The bungalows are extremely basic, Cold water showers. Buckets to flush the loo.
Beds extremely hard. No sun loungers on the beach area. No fridge/Tv/Aircon in the rooms. In a swampy location where it attracts quite a few mosquito.
We would return to this place due to the fact we had good value for money.

Cheap, clean and comfortable

The family that run pinks are super cheerful and friendly.
I booked last minute for full moon and pinks was the cheapest still available. I wasn't expecting much, but boy was I surprised. Showers and toilets were clean and the beach was perfect for nursing a post bucket hangover.
Fast wifi
Lots of animals, dogs chickens and cats dotted about.
I would definitely stay here again

you get what you expect

If I'd be objective, I couldn't give four Stars, but on the other hand Pinks Bungalow is a cheap and pleasant solution at Ban Tai. You don't have to pay that much to stay at a Bungalow - although its more expensive than it was a few years ago - and my Bungalow was clean. I didn't have any warm water, but that doesn't really matter, due to the warm weather. The staff was friendly during my three week stay and the food was tasty and cheap. It was pretty loud there, but on the other hand thats what you get and expect if you stay at Ban Tai, so like I said - you get what you expect, I can recommend Pinks Bungalow if you don't care about high quality, which I didn't - and I would recommend to ask for a Bungalow at the Oceanside, which is just beautiful and relaxing
