Hands Down, The Best Hostel In Rijeka, Possibly The Country!
I extended my stay here several times and returned because the service, location, and price were in line with what you get. You won't find a more efficient and helpful staff and I have stayed in at least half a dozen hostels in this country.
There is a reason why this place is constantly busy. They KNOW how to take care of their guests from checkin to departure!

Family atmosphere right by the beach
The team there is so kind and helpful and I really had a lot of questions: late check-in, laundry, where do I get Kunar for a beer? I had lots of fun there. The rooms and beds are comfortable and it was wonderful to shuttle between the beach and the hostel. There is a lively market just a few minutes walk away that you should visit if you stay there. I felt very comfortable here!

For bigger friend groups
I stayed here for 2 nights in group of 8.
The hosts are really nice and friendly. The outside of hostel is not much but inside is cute, comfy and chill. It is good for bigger firebd groups since the rooms are big with 8 beds.
One floor shares one bathroom, everything is clean and tidy.
It is not in center of city but it took me 15 min to center so it is not as far.
Infront of is small beach but next to it ship yard, and close to this beach an further from shipyard is bič Sabljić.
All in all, clean and tidy and great service.

Extraordinary hospitality
The staff is so nice. When I was staying, a former athlete for Yugoslavia named Sexy was working frequently. I had many great conversation with Sexy, about history, about his life, his grown children, Rijeka and Croatia. There was also a women of similar age that was very pleasant and a young guy who was helpful. The walls are a bit thin in the big dorm, they are only made of plastic so be warned: go to bed tired or drunk because you can hear the stairs and lower floor fully. The views from the front are spectacular. Even with the shipping terminal close by, the water is crystal clear in front of the hostel. The beach in front of the hostel is the local Dog beach. If you like dogs, expect to see a at least a few per hour. It's a nice spot really, one of the most picturesque, beautiful hostel experiences I've ever had. It's really close to Sablicevo beach which is simply amazing. It's a 10 minute walk into the center of town, which is nice to burn off those calories and see a bit more than just the tourist area.

A solid hostel
The staff here are really friendly, they'll inform you of the sites and are good for general conversation too. You're provided with bedding and towels plus the storage lockers are huge and the room has air con.
The reason for my lower rating is that its a half an hour walk from the town, each bed doesn't have a plug directly next to it, meaning you can't lay in bed while your phone is charging for example, and they charge you a fee upon arrival, this is frustrating because I chose this hostel qs it was the cheapest price but hidden fees will affect which hostel is cheapest overall.
