Things you need to know

Time difference: None.

Weather: Singapore has an average temperature of 30°C throughout the year. Generally it is recommended that you visit between November and March, when the Northeast Monsoon cools the city.

Singapore is much more expensive than Kuala Lumpur, and though going out to dinner in this city is far more expensive than in Malaysia, by world standards it is very reasonable. Expect to pay around 60SGD ($59) for two people to eat a three-course meal at a mid-range restaurant.
