· For about $45-50 you can take a taxi from central Brisbane right to the airport departure lobbies. If you would prefer to take public transport, there is the Airtrain service, which runs from the Central Station to BNE in 22 minutes and costs $15, or you can call for a Con-X-ion shuttle to pick you up at home for $15 per person.
· You’ll find that Brisbane Airport (BNE) has world-class facilities, and provides passengers with access to wireless internet, a variety of dining options, from fast food to sit-down restaurants, and there are lots of stores to pass your waiting time in.
· Nadi International Airport (NAN) is not as well equipped, but it is going to be undergoing redevelopment to modernise many of its facilities. In the meantime, there is a very good duty-free goods section in the airport, as well as a few eateries, a currency exchange service, and internet kiosks if you need to get online.
· Departing from Brisbane Airport will see you transiting through the International Terminal, but at Nadi there is only one main building that handles all flights.
