Arriving in Delhi

Delhi Airport (DEL) is the only passenger airport serving New Delhi. International flights arrive at Terminal 3 on the ground floor, a large and modern terminal that opened in 2010. You can get rupees and use the other airport facilities before arranging transport to your hotel.

The airport is 16km from the centre of Delhi, connected by rail and road. The Metro is the fastest option as it avoids traffic, with a ticket on the Airport Express line costing 10-60 rupees depending on your destination. Taxis at the airport are operated by Mega Cabs and Meru Cabs and charge 600-800 rupees to the city centre.
