Official Gold Coast Airport parking options
If you want to park at Gold Coast Airport, which boasts one of the closest carpark-to-terminal distances in Australia, you’ll be pleased to hear you have four options to choose from, with more than 2000 spaces available for travellers’ cars.
With all domestic and international flights leaving from the same terminal at GC’s Coolangatta Airport, where you park has no bearing on where in the airport you need to go to check in.
The four options are for parking at Gold Coast Airport are:
- Premium Covered Parking
- Terminal Parking (short term)
- Terminal Parking (long term)
- Budget Parking
The premium covered parking is both the closest and the most expensive, while the budget parking is the cheapest and the farthest from the terminal.
Gold Coast Aiport drive-up parking prices
While it pays to plan ahead, all parking options at the airport have set rates for drive-up vehicles.
- Premium covered parking: $45/day.
- Long-term terminal parking: $25/day for the first four days, $20/day for additional days.
- Short-term terminal parking: Starts at $6/hour.
- Budget parking: $20/per day.
All terminals offer discounts on your stay by booking online. This must be done through the Gold Coast Airport website at least 24 hours before you intend to park your car.
Unofficial Gold Coast Airport parking options
As with other major airports in Australia, passengers flying from the Gold Coast have the option of parking in an off-site location that has been set up to combat the high prices of airport parking.
These tend to be cheaper, offer a free shuttle service to the terminal but are also farther from the airport than the onsite options.
Alpha Airport Parking: Open from 5am to 10pm, Alpha offers free shuttles to the terminal that take just a few minutes. They also offer car detailing packages if you want to come home to a shiny looking auto.
Costs start at $12.50/day for the first day, with slight decreases for each subsequent day. One week costs $60, 14 days costs $80.
Ezy Parking: Around five minutes away from the terminal, Ezy Parking is another cheap and convenient parking option for travellers from the Gold Coast. Open from 4am until late, Ezy offers extras such as car detailing services and logbook servicing.
Parking costs start at $15 for the first day. Seven days at Ezy costs $65 for outdoor parking and $112 for indoor.
Reddy Airport Parking: Just four minutes away from Gold Coast Airport, parking your car with Reddy is quick and convenient. Shuttles meet every arrival, drivers have the option of indoor and outdoor parking and regular visitors get discounted rates.
Drive-up rates start at $23.75 for the first day, but vastly reduced rates thereafter. Seven days at Reddy costs $67.75.
