Simple wholesome Green Country living! Vacation here often, recharge, enjoy life :)
Vermont is a beautiful state! The four seasons are wonderfully distinct here, and there are so many outdoor activities to enjoy in each. There are beautiful mountains, lakes, rivers, and valleys, quaint towns and small cities, fresh produce, and open-minded people. It is a great place in which to both visit and live.
I had been to every state in New England except Vermont until a recent road trip to Montpelier and Burlington. Vermont has none of the rocky, loneliness of New Hampshire or Maine. It's hills are wooded and dotted with dairy farms, snow and ski slopes. And, lest we forget, the greatest maple syrup in the world come from here.
The perfect winter getaway for city girl like myself. Fresh air (*moaning*) is something I appreciate and long for. Vermont is like heaven in the winter; covered in snow, with a laid-back nature and refuge for nature-lovers, homebodies who love to be snuggled up by the fire, and outdoor adventure seekers. Every day in Vermont is pure serendipity.
