Wonderful little town with so much to do! I ran out of time and would definitely like to go back. In addition to all the Shakespeare sites, there's also the riverside and really excellent shopping for such a small place.

I love Stratford upon Avon - Not only is it Shakespeare's town - it is also one of the country's pretty market towns. I love the tudor housing along the streets, and markets are run on Fridays and Saturdays every week. The town also host a wonderful Christmas market!

This is a lovely medieval city to visit in England. There are tours that depart daily from London, or you can drive yourself (if you feel comfortable). The architecture, shopping, and pubs are interesting, and the Royal Shakespeare Theater is located here.

The town where William Shakespeare was born and lived his life with the family until he left for London to become an actor and playwriter.
