Ankara is a very modern city with good public transportation and plenty of hotels. The most popular things to do here are to go to the Mausoleum of Ataturk, and the Museum of Anatolian Civilizations which has some amazing items on display.

Ankara is beautiful. We visited some old buildings and have such a wonderful time. The transport is cheap and gets you to the places you want almost directly. I STRONGLY recommend this place to anyone. Maybe not a holiday with children because their health and safety are almost non existent! all in all a lovely place if you are interested in beautiful old buildings xx

After restoration hamamonu becomes perfect place. sightseeing duration is approximately 1hour by foot.
