This hotel is very well located on the east side just outside Chiang Mai's old town. You can walk to Tha Pae gate which is very famous for photographs and that takes you into the old town. We got a room on the 6th floor with a beautiful view of the old town and Doi Suthep in the background - would definitely recommend asking for a room facing the west.

We had a superb stay. The hotel exceeded our expectations with the price we paid. Food, bed, shower, internet and staff service were all excellent. Location is perfect for tourists like us. The Thapae Gate is a few minutes away and other shops. We had a beautiful view of the canal. The hotel was beautiful .

I. had a wonderful stay at the Amora Thapae Hotel in Chiang Mai .I was given an upgrade which was wonderful and I really appreciated . I look forward to coming back to Amora Thapae as Chiang Mai is one of my most favourite places beautiful city and very safe city
