The food was great!!! the buffet breakfast changes everyday and it was very yummy.
Super friendly staff with great hospitality.
Feeding the cat fishes from the bridge was fun.

This resort exceeded every expectation we had and then some! From the moment we arrived, we were treated with such warmth and hospitality. The grounds were immaculate, the amenities were top-notch, and the attention to detail in every part of our stay was truly impressive. The food was absolutely delicious, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Whether relaxing by the pool, enjoying the spa, or simply soaking in the atmosphere, everything was perfect. This was hands down the best resort experience we’ve ever had—can’t wait to come back!

This is an absolute amazing place :-) - the level of service and kindness is the highest I have ever witnesst across US, Europe, Middleast and East Asia. Truly magnificant. I was very lucky and got an upgrade to an ever better room with a wonderful view of the river and extremely quit at evening and night. The bathroom, the bed, the balcony, the desktop - everything top-notch. With GRAB it is very close to every area of wonderful Bangkok. I The decoration and the art in the Hotel is upper 5 star level - with alot of Thai and Asian cultural artifacts! The cleaning everyday was exquisite and the restaurants absolutely of the highest quality. I even git to try the signature Thai massage treatment at the SPA and it was second level bliss - definitely worth the price. Highly, highly recommended from an International with lots of experience in 5 star hotels.

The hotel has everything that is needed in a hotel: location, pool, restaurants, bars, comfort and amenities. BUT what makes Anantara different is its people, the service, the happy faces, their willingness to help in every detail and the BIG breakfast buffet with tons of options. Don't hesitate on selecting the breakfast option, you won't regret it. Also their cruise through the river with dinner served in the boat.

Eventhough Anantara Riverside looks to be in a bit remote corner of the city the location is excellent as you can get easily anywhere anong the river. Also, the SkyTrain is just 15 mins avway by the boat. It is much easier, nicer and faster to travel by the river than being stuck in a traffic jam.
Anantara Riverside and Anantara Siam are both "traditional" hotels and not overly fuzzy and fancy. I would say both are not truly 5 start hotels - rather 4++ but I like it that way.
There are severfal restarurants inthe shopping mall combles just behind the hotel (under the Avani + hotel). Also 7-11 is conveniently located next the hotel
