Diving Nest - great place for great value

My wife and I recently spent a few days at Diving Nest in Sandy Bay Beach, Trincomalee, and we had an absolutely wonderful time!
The rooms are exceptionally clean and very budget-friendly. The food was absolutely delicious, but what really sets this place apart is the warm hospitality—the people here are incredibly friendly and helpful.
They specialize in scuba diving and snorkeling, but they also arrange dolphin and whale watching, jet ski rentals, and boat rides, making it a perfect hub for adventure. Location-wise, it’s ideal. It offers easy access to Trincomalee Beach, Fort Frederick, the Naval Museum, Orr's Hill Army Museum, Koneswaram Temple, and is an easy drive to Nilaveli and the Kanniya Hot Springs.
If you are visiting Trinco, this is the perfect place to stay. We will definitely be back!

Great teacher, very thoughtful. Wonderful adventure!

Christian, my dive instructor, took such good care of me for my first dive. He walked me through basic instruction, and then we headed out to shallow water. We moored in the bay, and walked through basic skills where I could comfortably stand in the water. Then we dived slowly down to 11 meters, near the point. We saw beautiful fish, corals, and a lion fish. He kept a good eye on me and frequently checked with me to make sure I was ok. It was a wonderful experience!

My first scuba dive experience

It was my first scuba dive experience. I wrote to the manager, we met the next day and agreed on a favor. Guy picked me up and took me to a diving center nearby. There were different diving instructors, all young, fun guys. There were me and two other young men. Our instructor explained everything you need to know in clear language. A very pleasant, relaxed atmosphere. After that, we were fitted with equipment and took a boat to the sea. We learned the basic techniques of diving, and then we went diving together. It wasn't a big deal if you didn't overdo it and follow the instructions of the instructor. It was an unforgettable experience. Thanks to the instructors for their excellent guidance.
