Nice hotel and restaurant, meals could use some attention.

Rooms are spacious and very neat.
Friendly staff, friendly staff.
The restaurant is cozy, everything here also crunchy,
Fabric tablecloth and napkins, wine in ice bucket, in short, very traditional.
The food was ok but lacked some sophistication.
I first had a salad, a lot of canned tuna, different kinds of charcuterie and a mountain of vegetables.
Then the duck breast, a lot of meat here too. You can do so much more with this in terms of presentation.
Now, the portions are at least very generous.
Another point of attention is the speed with which everything comes to the table.
I thought at first because I was the 1st customer but also at the tables that came in afterwards, the food was on the table in no time.
It should remain an experience and not a competition.
Breakfast is not a buffet but they ask what you want to eat.
Here too certainly more than sufficient.

Excellent hotel and evening meal

Lovely hotel and excellent restaurant in the centre of Vidreres with a car park at the rear.
Comfortable bedroom on the first floor. Every facility including, unlike some of the hotels I stayed at during my trip, a large shower cabinet with, importantly, a shower head that stayed where you pointed it.
There was no lift and, as I’m not great at climbing up and down stairs any more, I was really tempted to try the stair-lift they had fitted. But I didn’t !!
My evening meal in the restaurant was excellent; cost more than the room but worth it.

Very good restaurant

Superb meal, good value for money..fast and good..recommended!!! The service is fast and the waiters welcoming, a real pleasure to still find quality restaurants.....................

I have eaten a secret that was hard from being grilled...a shoe...and the knife that didn't cut...it would be good for the other diner's cod, but not with the hard meat, it was good for him. fish from the other diner... Bad barbecue... they let it burn

Good Catalonian food

I have visited this restaurant for over 20 years every time I go to Girona (Spain). With only one exception both the service and the food have been on the positive side.
The only drawback is that the restrooms are on the second floor and there is no elevator. I usually go to this restaurant with my 91 years old mother and... she has to hold it.
