GREAT STAY
We've been a group of friends at this hotel, and everything has been positive.
The staff is very friendly.
The room and bathroom are good size.
Very good cleanliness throughout the hotel.
Great breakfast.
The village is about 15 minutes walk.

Hotel
Getaway of 10 in Lights of the West. The views and the heated pool are a must. You can see that they take care of the details and it is not the typical place that tries to be 'like home', here you come to be taken care of.

Days off, and out of the city stress.

Nos alegra muchísimo saber que encontrasteis en el hotel ese descanso que buscabais, que disfrutasteis de la comida, las vistas y la piscina, y que os sentisteis tan bien atendidos por el equipo.
Cuidamos mucho la limpieza y la tranquilidad del entorno, así que es un placer leer que lo habéis valorado.

Unprofessional service
Correct facilities, nice garden and nice view. Very poor breakfast and very unprofessional service. Unbelievable but at 12.05 when we were closing our bags they threatened to charge us an extra night if we didn't leave the room immediately

Gracias por compartir su opinión, aunque lamentamos que su percepción no coincidiera con la experiencia que procuramos ofrecer.
Nos gustaría aclarar algunos puntos para quienes lean este comentario:
– Nuestro desayuno es uno de los aspectos mejor valorados del hotel, tanto por variedad como por calidad, por lo que sentimos que no fuera de su agrado en esta ocasión.
– En cuanto a la hora de salida, es importante puntualizar que no se trató de cinco minutos, sino de un retraso considerable cuando teníamos huéspedes esperando para entrar en la habitación. En ningún caso se amenazó con cobrar una noche adicional, simplemente se informó de que, al excederse el horario, podría aplicarse el suplemento correspondiente, como ocurre en cualquier alojamiento.
Aun así, tomamos nota de su valoración y sentimos que su estancia no se ajustara a lo que esperaba.
Nos encantaría que, si decide volver a la zona, pudiera darnos una nueva oportunidad con una percepción más ajustada a nuestro funcionamiento real.

A Little Gem in the Mountains
Luces del Poniente
We are so enjoying our stay in this small boutique hotel with wonderful views across the Sierra Guadaramma. It seems a million miles from the hustle and bustle of Madrid (still one of our favourite cities). Our room is very pleasant, with comfortable beds, a nice modern en-suite and plenty of storage space but the highlight for us is the stunning view from our own balcony over Cercedilla and the mountains beyond.
So far we have only eaten breakfast in the hotel as we have Spanish friends living nearby, but we can say that the breakfasts are very good with loads of choices and some nice fresh fruit as well as cooked options and many Spanish treats.
The staff we have met so far are all so helpful and charming. And the hotel itself is amazingly quiet and tranquil, even during weekends. The loudest sound comes from the little train crossing the mountains in the distance. This area has so much to offer, from the magnificence of El Escorial to the stunning natural beauty. We hope to be back soon.
