Long fairytale weekend!

The location of the hotel is excellent, a stone's throw from the sea.
Our room was perfect, with a sea view and comfortable beds.
The welcome and attention of Juan, Maria Antonia and all the staff since our arrival (they offered us a glass of cava with chocolates) is undoubtedly the strong point of the structure. They make you feel at ease, as if you were "at home". Breakfast and dinner are buffet style and include desserts, fruit, fish, chicken and vegetables. There is a terrace with an outdoor swimming pool and a bar (moderate prices and top-notch drinks!) and they organize themed evenings. On Sunday there is a singer who brings a vast musical repertoire to make you sing and dance. We will definitely be back! THANKS FOR EVERYTHING

Hotel okay, room bad

The hotel itself is okay, the location is very good, but our room was grotto bad.
For people planning a party holiday or short trip, the hotel is suitable. For people who value recreation, not.
Room 316 was an imposition. Very small, old and above all clairvoyant. In addition, the fee of 15€ for the use of the small and old refrigerator was an absolute incomprehension for us.

Solid hotel for a relaxing short break

Small, cozy and well-kept hotel right on the beach. Extremely friendly and courteous staff. (Not pushy)

Excellent staff, great location!

We've just returned from staying here for 6 nights. The location of the hotel is superb, very close to the seafront promenade. Our room was clean and of a decent standard for a 3 star hotel. Any minor quirks with the hotel being far outweighed by the excellent attitude of all of the staff. A special mention goes to Eveline, Nuni and Jose, who were all great, hence the high rating provided. Cala Ratjada is predominantly a German resort which was not a problem and more Brits appear to be going each year. The are plenty of good restaurants nearby, to such a degree that you are spoilt for choice. We hired a car from the airport and the fact the hotel has no parking wasn't an issue, as there was street parking in close proximity. Pool area is good and no diffuculty in getting a sunbed. Overall an excellent break at a decent price!

Quiet and relaxing

We stayed for 1 wk at the Clmba Hotel. For a 3 star it was very good - comfortable, clean, quiet, close to the beach and town centre. I think this is the quieter time of year to go; which is what we like.The staff were friendly and helpful - esp. the receptionists. Our biggest gripe was not with the hotel itself but the fact that the area of Cala Rajuda caters for large numbers of German tourists. Everything was written in German - even more than Spanish - and English was the least. We came to Spain for the Spanish flavour...if we wanted German we would visit Germany!! In spite of that, we did enjoy our stay although we will not return to this particular resort.
