A great base for exploration.

The breakfasts were very good with a good coffee servet at order! Staff was very good. Modern bathroom, but a bit neglected. There was no problem with parking. Great place for a starting point to visit the area [Banska Szczawnica, Banska Bystrzyca, Zwolen, etc.] and for hiking in the mountains.

another nice stay

We were in this hotel just one night but it was really nice place to stay. The room was stylish, staff was very kind, everything was ok. I can recommend this place when visiting Sliac. Another advantage is food store in the neighbourhood.

Nice hotel

Nice hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are spacious and beds comfy, bathroom is big too, but unfortunately no bath. We liked the breakfast. They make you fresh coffee and eggs any style you like with ham/sausages anything you like.

Recommended!

Spent one night in Villa Green on our way to Banská Bystrica and the Tatra Mountains. The village of Sliač is known for its famous SPAs, so worth stopping anyway.
Warm welcome by lovely staff (Martin, the owner…), very nice, well equipped room, 15 minutes outside the historical city of Banská Bystrica.
Wi-Fi worked great and breakfast was superb. Rooms are about to be renovated soon so expect even better stay.
Highly recommended if looking for “value for money”.

Sehr angenehme, kleine, familiäre Unterkunft

Es ist eine sehr nette, kleine, familiäre Unterkunft mit sehr freundlichen Personal. Alles wie beschrieben - die Zimmer sind neuwertig, sind absolut sauber, haben TV (leider nur regionale Programme, aber dafür Internet), haben eine Klimaanlage und das Bett ist elektrisch einstellbar. Kostenfreies, recht vernünftiges WLAN gibt es auch und (falls man mit dem Auto unterwegs ist) kostenfreie Parkplätze. Apropos Auto - wenn man lieber Bolt / Uber nutzt - hier war beides nicht verfügbar, nur lokale Taxiunternehmen, mit denen die Kommunikation in EN oder DE nicht möglich war. Die Rezeption war leider auch nur nachmittags bis zum frühen Abend besetzt - man muss ein Taxi daher ggf. vorab bestellen. Aber ist alles machbar.
Die Umgebung ist super, das Kurbad und die Quellen sind fußläufig erreichbar und auch nach Zvolen ist es ein nicht zu langer Spaziergang.
Ich würde die Unterkunft eher als Pension / Ferienwohnung statt als Hotel bezeichnen - bei einem Hotel gehe ich davon aus, dass das Zimmer jeden Tag geputzt wird, was hier nicht der Fall ist. Das ist aber völlig in Ordnung, hatte es nur anders erwartet.
Das Frühstück ist einfach aber ausreichend, auf Wunsch bekommt man auch Spiegelei , etc.
Das Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis ist super!
