Beautiful place

Went there one night to relax after a big week of humanitarian aid. The hotel is great, it has a pool and is just next to the Lac Rose and the market. One of the best I slept in in Senegal.
I ate iassa (or yassa) chicken and i've been sick as hell all night long. But it is probably my bad to have ordered chicken in Senegal…The other 6 people with me haven't been sick and the hotel staff has been great with me, the security man brought me sheets because I was sick outside and it was a little cold. I appreciated it :)

I arrived to be informed that they no longer take online bookings and therefore my expedia booking was invalid. They said that they maybe could organise a room for later that evening but I would have to pay cash immediately if I wanted it. I left and found an alternative and have applied for a refund. The staff at the hotel were friendly but very clear that if you online book they doi not consider it a reservation.

Terrible

They do not accept confirmed reservations via Booking.com. If you try to check in the refuse the confirmation and blame Booking.com and put you back on the street. Their administration is a complete chaos. This company is not professional at all. Pls be warned!!

AVOID THIIS PLACE

There is NO respect from the people of this hotel. We booked and we were offered NO room, with vague excuses. After a wait of 2 hours rooms were finally made available, but the prices were RAISED compared with booking. Suddenly, out of nothing. After this we decided to move the people became hyper AGGRRSIVE. They were swearing in Wolof and English "... your mother". the worst experience in any country I have visited and I have been in many countries. Do not got here at ANY COST. We felt unsafe and treated like vermin.

Lac Rose was great for customer service and general customer support. I would recommend it anyone looking for good quiet environment to escape from busy city or hard work life.
